Tyr Sport Inc. is among the foremost brands when it comes to swimming and triathlon wear and equipment today. Founded in 1985 by Joseph DiLorenzo and Olympic bronze medalist Steve Furniss, Tyr went from fashionable, fun, and performance-centric gear provider to global brand that distributes to more than 40 international markets. The company works in tandem with sister company Swimwear Anywhere Inc. which designs and produces all their swimwear offerings.
Swimwear Anywhere is a leader in its own right, and is one of the largest branded swimwear manufacturers in all of North America. Together, Tyr Sport Inc. and Swimwear Anywhere Inc. partners with numerous world class athletes (recently, four time world champion Craig Alexander) and organizations across Europe and North America to further the sport and bolster the athlete.
